INFO / CONTACT

HATCHETMEN are a 3 pc rock/blues band from Southeastern Michigan consisting of vocalist/guitarist Dick Lonczynski (Romeo MI), drummer Randy Dunn (Shelby Twp. MI) & bassist John Tree (Farmington Hills MI). HATCHETMEN are moving in on 4 years together as of February 2015 and have independently released two CDs of original material. "Judge & Jury" was released in April of 2012 to rave reviews. The record has received radio play across Michigan and Canada as well as global attention on the internet. Likewise, "Tight Black Dress", since its release in late December of 2013, has garnered lots of attention across the board. We have sold nearly 1000 CDs mostly at our well attended shows. We have had the opportunity and honor to open for many national acts passing through the Detroit area including Grammy winner Walter Trout, Eric Sardinas, Coco Montoya, Matt Schofeild, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Chris Duarte and many, many more.

Dick originally formed HATCHETMEN as a cover band to attract players he could hopefully convince to play the originals he had written since his time with another local hard rock trio, EDUCATION. Randy had grow weary with his speed metal past and joined the fold through a friend of a friend. John was itching to play and got sent our way by mutual friend Nikki James. Three strange bedfellows who together make HATCHETMEN unique among rock bands today. Driving yet melodic, thoughtful yet rowdy, bluesmen with a real rock'n'roll attitude. You can always expect the unexpected from a HATCHETMEN release. We have over two hours of original music as well as an extra hour of hand-picked cover material. We've played festivals for 3000 and pig roasts for 100 as well as all points in between. Consider HATCHETMEN for your next can't miss event! hatchetmen@hotmail.com
